"No, no, no, no. I never said that about Miami, New Jersey, Chicago, Houston, New York, Utah...it was always you Minnesota."

I'll be honest, I really don't know what's happening with "Boozer-Gate" right now, not that any of us do, personally, I have ignored the subject for a week so I'm really out of the loop. However, I decided it was time to catch up and see what rumors were floating around this morning when the first thing that catches my eye is this:

"Center Swap: Okafor for Chander"

Really Jazz? Really? At what point do we decide to join every other Western Conference contender in making an effort to improve ourselves. I know, I know. Some of you are saying, "well, I'm not sure if that really helps New Orleans..." Whatever. Whether it helps them or not, they [New Orleans] thinks it will so they are taking the steps to stay competitive.

Meanwhile, in Jazz Camp: "Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz." Maybe it's other teams' lack of interest in Boozer or maybe it's KOC trying to play hard ball, I don't know. All I know is, that from the outside looking in, we are losing ground on the conference. Ground we really didn't have to lose in the first place. The Jazz are not the team to beat, everyone knows L.A....ok maybe S.A. are, but the 3-8 spots are up for grabs and a handful of teams are doing their best to secure those spots and make a run on at L.A. and S.A. Our beloved Jazz, however, are looking mighty comfortable settling for an 8-9 seed in the West, 9 being worthless.

My question is, what options do the Jazz have. Realistic options? Or do we start believing KOC when he said hey, Boozer opted in didn't he? I think the idea of Boozer and Millsap spells disaster but I'm starting to believe we might see that for a little bit this season. Help me out here guys, help me erase the bitterness and fill it with optimism....or, at lease vent with me.

I think it's time everyone accepted Boozer and Millsap for 2009-2010. We need an awesome name for our awesome two-headed monster. Boozap? Millzer? Moozer? Moozap? Billzap? The not-malones? $22 million and change? Who is the change in that scenario? The 15 and 10 club? The business end of a Williams assist?

Weird how my numbers always disappear. Should say Twenty-two million and change.

Nice work Tyrant. I like the idea of either Boozap or Billzap. We could even sell a jersey on the blog.

Ha! It isn't just me. The numbers disappear when you post. This needs to be fixed. And Boozer is going to have to get used to the idea of playing for the Jazz. The real question is AK. If he can't get time at the 4, then we should trade him for anything. Or else trade Boozer for a wing scorer and move AK to significant time at power forward. And before you ask, what wing scorer we could get from Boozer, here is your answer: .http://jazzingitup.com/2009/07/20/the-jazz-should-get-a-little-selfish-this-next-season/
