PGs? Check. SGs? Check. SFs? Check. PFs? Check. That leaves just one postion... center.

The Jazz don't really have a need for a center. They have Okur, who fits the offense here really well. There's The Koof, drafted in the 1st round last year. He really impressed in the time he got. And there's Kyrylo Fesenko, who's option was exercised by the Jazz recently. The Jazz don't really need more than 3 centers, do they? That said, there are still rumors that teams like Fesenko (the Kings), and Okur does have the option to opt out before the 31st if he's not happy. Hopefully nothing happens though, because there aren't really all that many options for the Jazz in the draft.

Gone (These guys have a 99.99% chance of being gone at #20... if one of them falls, you jump on him)
-Hasheem Thabeet (Connecticut): He's a defensive terror for the opposition, and an offensive terror for his own team. He could go as high as #2, and probably won't slip past #6 or so. In other words, forget about building up the Jazz defense with him.

Likely Gone (Not locks to be gone, but very unlikely that they fall to the Jazz)
-None: There are currently 0 C's that would fit into this category.

Potentially There (Guys that could will likely fall to around #20, but wouldn't be major reaches there)
-BJ Mullens (Ohio State): He could be gone based on potential, but he could slip. Like another former Ohio Stater... Kosta Koufos. Not really NBA ready, and questions about motivation and all. Really not a fit for the Jazz.

That's it for 1st rounders. We've got 2 guys. Two. Dos. Deus. However you say 2, it's not all that much. So I'd recommend you look elsewhere. (Or trade up.) If you want a 2nd rounder, there is the next Kyrylo Fesenko, but with less offense (is that possible?) and better defensively. I'd love to see a trade up for Thabeet (sign & trade Booze + #20?), but I'm not expecting that. The Jazz don't do stuff that could pay off like that... they prefer the "safe" options like Morris Almond.

I guess I'll try to get up a "top-10" for the Jazz or something. Just to know though, the last 3 years, my top guys have been Thabo Sefolosha (went 1 pick before the Jazz, who ended up with Brewer), Corey Brewer (who went in the lottery and the Jazz ended up with Almond) and Ryan Anderson (who went just a couple picks before the Jazz added The Koof). And this year, it'll probably be Thabeet & PG Johnny Flynn atop the board.
