Well, the NBA schedule was released on Tuesday (unless your team decided to take the fine and leak it earlier). The Jazz, as you all know, have money issues, so leaking it was not an option. So we waited an extra day to see the Jazz 2009/2010 NBA schedule.

Some quick thoughts...
- It's a long. 82 games, + the preseason. Not quite sure what they were thinking there. Fatigue & injuries increase with so many games. Is KOC not thinking?
- The Jazz will be facing 29 different opponent, some twice, some thrice and some 4 times. I'm surprised the Jazz agreed to face teams like the Timberwolves, Grizzlies, Knicks, etc... you know, the bad teams that the Jazz always kill always kill the Jazz.
- Like last season, the season starts against Denver (Wednesday, October 28). This time though, it WILL feature Hit-N-Run, Deron & Chauncey Billups. It seems like Carlos Boozer will also partake as a member of the Jazz.
- Games against the Knicks. November 9th (in NY), March 29th (Utah). Will Booze switch teams in between?
- Games against the Heat. December 23rd (in Miami), January 11th (Utah). Will Booze switch teams in between?
- Games against the Bulls. November 26th (Utah), March 9th (in Chicago). Will Booze switch teams in between?
- Unlike last year, the road games against the Eastern Conference aren't in 3 sets of 5. Instead, it goes 4-5-3-3.
- The pre-Christmas trips involves trips to NJ, Atlanta, Charlotte, Orlando & Miami.
- New Year's Eve = game at Oklahoma City. Nice.
- Like the start of the 2009 season, 2010 is welcomed in with a game against the Nuggets... this one at home (January 2nd).
- The season ends Wednesday, May 14th at home against the Suns.
- The trade deadline is February 18. The Jazz play @NO on the 17th, and @GS on the 19th. Will that be the end of the Booze era and the start of the 'Sap starting era?

What games is everyone looking forward to?

I'm looking forward to two games.

1. The game when Carlos Boozer isn't in a Jazz uniform on the bench.

2. The game when Carlos Boozer goes for 45 and 21.

How about the game that Carlos Boozer doesn't yell "And 1" after every shot. Even if he isn't the one taking the shot.

This schedule looks better than the previous two years. Not as many back to backs on the roads, which are almost always losses. I'm definitely looking most forward for the November game in Cleveland, the only in person game I get to see all year.
