ESPN's Chad Ford has his NBA Draft Lottery projector up, and after only about 15 tries I got the Jazz to #1.  Ford has us taking Oklahoma's Blake Griffin with the #1 pick, which is funny because his description says, "think Carlos Boozer with more hops."  The most likely spot for the Jazz right now (currently only 1/2 game out of the playoffs) is the 14th pick and Ford projects the Jazz taking Al-Farouq Aminu, from Wake Forest.

Like most loyal Jazz fans, I don't believe for one second that they won't make the playoffs.  We've had some GREAT picks over the last 3 years without lottery picks, guys like Brewer, Kofous, and some guy named Millsap.  When you're strapped for cash, the draft is one of the best places to improve your team.  Sometimes you get guys like Borchardt, but ocassionally you get a guy like AK47.
