11 And Counting

Quick, someone name me 5 players who are playing better than Deron right now?  I'll give you Kobe, LeBron, Wade, and Dwight.  Other than those 4, I can't think of anyone that is playing at a higher level than DWill, he's simply unstoppable.  If you haven't seen the last couple games you really are missing out.  He has that quick crossover jumpshot that is just deadly and, until this afternoon, had a streak of 11 straight games with 10+ assists.  Right now the Jazz are sitting at 4th in the west, although I think technically we should be 5th behind the Rockets since they own the season series so far (and the Rockets are playing the Grizzlies later today and should win).  Either way, the Jazz are playing the best basketball they have all season, overcoming a 19 point deficit against the Nugs, an 8 point 4th quarter deficit to the Raptors tonight, and every other obstacle thrown at them over the last 11 games.  The offense has been humming too, the Jazz have scored 100+ in 15 of the last 18 games.  Not all was good though, Boozer sat out today recovering from a sprained ankle he suffered against Denver.  Which is too bad really because he usually eats Toronto up.  Let's hope he's back to...whatever percent he's been at before the Pacers game on Tuesday.

I think we can all agree that whether it's the Lakers or the Clippers, we'll take ANY road win.  Up next are the Pacers who have been giant killers this season.  They have beaten Boston, LA, Cleveland, and Orlando, something that no other team has done this year.  They'll likely be without their best player though, as Granger has been bothered by a foot injury.  Coach Jim O'Brien says that Tuesday (against the Jazz) is the EARLIEST he could come back.  And, as we all know, coming back from injury too early can really be bad news.  Granger hasn't played in 3 weeks so even if he does play I don't imagine he'd be his usual dominating self.  The Jazz won the first meeting in SLC back on January 12, but had to score120 points to do it.  I'll be at the game so let's hope they make it 12 in a row!

That game meant a lot to the Jazz. It was nice to see them fight back in the 4th and it was all at the hands of Deron "The Franchise" Williams.

Some will call this blasphemy, but he almost looked Jordan-esque the way he took that game over in the 4th.

Nice win for the Jazz.

Oh and Dear Blazer/Nuggets fans.

Tell me how my a$$ tastes.

I dont think that Kobe or Dwight are playing better than D-Will right now. In fact, I would put him as an equal to Lebron and Wade over the last 10 games. He has been simply amazing.

Great Win and Great Run, but what is Boozer doing with his life? Are you kidding me? Can we get a 10 game stretch out of you Boozer? I didn't get a chance to be a part of the Comeback against Denver or the 4th quarter excitement from Toronto. Although I am giddy over those wins, I cannot get over the fact that Boozer is "hopeful" he can play tomorrow. Can someone fill me in here?
Wish I could have watch those games live but the trusty Cell Phone follow along was successful again.

Being a Blazer fan, I know you are familiar with a lot of the laws, etc. however, you can swear in Utah without going to prison. If you have any other legal questions feel free to contact TBJ Author "Scrum." I

Over the last 17 games (that they've played, Deron missed one game)

Roy: 23.7 ppg, 4.9 apg, 4.9 rpg
Williams: 23.1 ppg, 11.3 apg, 2.8 rpg

Points are even, Deron has a huge assist advantage and Roy has a rebound advantage, but the bigger stat:

Blazers are 11-6, Jazz are 14-3. Edge: WILLIAMS. Plus there's that whole division lead thing
