That's assuming any of our readers give a rats ass about the Jazz right now. Lord knows this Cowboy doesn't.

P.S. Can I enter to win?

The Jazz? What's that?

i'd say the odds for it would make even the most reckless gambler cringe

I think the Jazz should sport those old school green jerseys with the yellow lettering. Today would be perfect.

Wow, how accurate was my Titanic reference from a week ago?

No more hooting and hollering in here, you guys can't dive off of the bandwagon fast enough. If I were you I wouldn't even watch road games anymore. What would be the point?

Here is a question:

Why does the media and Zers fans not realize that their team is horrible on the road as well? Last time I checked there was a one game difference in that category between the two teams. Yet the Jazz are the only ones constantly knocked for it.

Maybe because the Jazz were anoited as the second best team in the West behind the Lakers and the only other team with a real chance to win the title?

The sad thing, dear Jazz fan, is that when this season started you were supposed to be primed for a title run and we were still supposed to miss the playoffs (albeit just barely, but miss the playoffs nonetheless).

With great power comes great responsibility. Superman taught me that, but he doesn't play for the Jazz. He plays for Orlando, who just crushed the Jazz on the road.

Enjoy the Wizards, because things are about to get ugly.

Touche, Sir. Touche.

Well now my Dwight Howard/Superman comment makes no sense.

Appologies.

Jazz Beat Reporter- Wait, I thought last week you told us you were a Reporter for the Jazz, squashing all of our prior beliefs and intuitions that you were actually a Blazers fan in disguise. Damn, I didn't see that one coming.

What do you really do for a living anyway? My guess is you are a 14 year old drop-out living on the south side of Portland. How else would you have so much time on your hands as to spend it in other teams forums all day? Unless of course you were extreemly jealous of the Jazz....Now it all makes sense.
Well my little Blazer buddy, you are welcome here...in fact I hope you make tons of comments after the Jazz take the division back, and your beloved Blazers get knocked out in the first round.

O and all the comments about how young you guys are are getting old. Take a look at our average age-how long has BRoy been in the league now? Still has never made the playoffs? By the time Deron was in his third year he had already been to the NBA's final four (do ya like the madness touch?). I would like to see your team do something, anything, before you run your mouth. Besides aren't your fans known for being the biggest bandwagoners in the league?
...
written by Roger Johnson, March 17, 2009
actually i believe the biggest bandwagoners are the Lakers and Celtics fans (and the Warriors in postseason 07 of course, that was ridiculous)
...
written by The Agreement, March 17, 2009
And would be second in the conference if half of our team hadn't been injured all year. Tell me, how good would the Blazers be if BRoy had been hurt for 40+ games. My guess is you would be batteling with the T-Wolves for draft positioning.

Seems like a certain team is underperforming...

So when Boozer leaves for Free Agency does that mean that you guys are screwed?

I cover the Jazz for the Beaver Press. Admittedly I was a bizarre hire seeing as how I'm not a fan, but I guess they just needed somebody who could string a few sentences together.

Nobody hates the "we're young" argument more than me, which is why I'm not using it. We're a team that has a very real chance to win the division and have home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. They are outperforming expectations and as a fan I couldn't be happier. Surely they will get better as they mature, but that doesn't mean that their failures are caused by their youth.

We don't really want to discuss what people do for a living, do we? Blogging and fantasy sports thrive because of professional business people and their idle internet time. If I were a 14 year old dropout with season tickets I think we would all agree that I'm doing pretty well for myself.

How's this for a deal? You keep losing and I'll keep coming over here to tell you guys how bad you are. Good? Good.

Glad we cleared that up.

Dude, you just made the deal with yourself. Weird.

If Boozer leaves for free agency, it will shock me at this point. He wont get a pay raise in this economy, plus he likes Utah. Guess you'll have to put up with us winning the division again next year too. Sorry kid, thems the breaks.
...
written by The Agreement, March 17, 2009
Ha. I'm confused by that one. Didn't you start coming around in the midst of that 12 game streak that put you in third place?

You have season tickets? Where did that come from? Are you making things up as you go?
...
written by Jazz Beat Reporter, March 18, 2009
It also seemed like he was happy in Cleveland, and then he chased money to Utah. No way that happens again (snicker).

Winning the division again? Doesn't that imply that you're going to win it this year? Aren't you in third place? This reporter has so many questions...
...
written by Jazz Beat Reporter, March 18, 2009
I didn't come around until you guys came around. Stones, glass houses, you know the saying...

Season tickets are beyond your ability to comprehend? Allow me to explain: money can be exchanged for goods and services.

Now that I've made myself at home over here, I think I'll stretch out and really enjoy your slow demise. It'll be kind of fun smilies/smiley.gif

Hey moron have you checked the standings? Third place in what is essentially a three way tie doesn't mean a whole lot. You lose one, and we switch places. Plus we play again. Yes, I think we will win the division. Are you sure you are a reporter? What ever happened to isaiah ryder anyway? You guys should spring him from the Poke. He might help your chances.

Thanks for the basic econ lesson, you must have gone to a really good high school.

Just as long as your willing to take it like a man if the Blazers are the ones that fall behind. That's all I'm asking.

It's a Simpsons quote Champ, but that's probably over your head with the whole "not funny" thing.

I thought we agreed that I would keep coming over here as long as you kept losing? Didn't we all agree on that?
...
written by Jazz Beat Reporter, March 18, 2009
That didn't seem to top you guys from excessive celebration when you went on your little winning streak. You expect us to restrain ourselves when you come crashing back to reality? Doesn't work that way, but thanks anyway.

That about as close as you'll ever get to being able to say "Press" and "Beaver" in the same sentence.

Spoken like a true Blazers fan. Sorry-love the Simpson's, don't have time to watch every episode. If I were a 14 year old drop out, I would probably memorize tv shows as well though.
...
written by Jazz Beat Reporter, March 18, 2009
Oh honestly now!

Surely a Simpsons quote is far more funny than a "Rosie palm and her five sisters joke". Now that is the joke of a 14 year old dropout!

Agreement, now you're just perpetuating the unfunny stereotype. For shame!
