Stats can be very deceiving....

The Jazz have won 3 of 4 and actually have a win streak on the road (!!).  In the last week they have averaged 106 ppg and 50.3% shooting.  But any real Jazz fan will tell you that they are only cautiously optimistic right now.  We have yet to play at 100% yet and it is seriously injury after injury after injury.  We all know how dangerous this team is when healthy, but no one has any idea when that will be.  The Jazz WERE 4.5 point favorites tonight, but there's word that Wade may not suit up, thereby killing his chance of having the NBA's highest scoring game so far (55 by Tony Parker).  I'm going to plan for the worst (Wade plays and scores 56) while hoping for the best (his head explodes).  The Jazz are 1-5 in their last 6 games against the Heat, which is why I'll take the Jazz 99-92 and the under (200).

1320 KFAN is reporting D-Will is questionable tonight as well due to a Hip Flexer suffered last night. Good night already! If D-Will sits out and D-Wade playes. D-Wade scores 105 and the Jazz lose by 1 on a last second shot by Chris Quinn.

I am a True Blue Jazz fan and even with my Miopically blue fan glasses on I have no idea what to think about this team right now. And it looks like the people in charge of doing the rankings agree as there is a pretty large spread from top to bottom.

On one hand I realize that the Jazz have had at least 2 starters missing from every game this year and still have a 12-7 record. This is very good considering the Rockets, Nuggets, Blazers, Hornets, Suns and Mavs all have very similar records with no where near the same ammount of injury issues.

On the other hand I realize that we have lost to the Knicks, Bobcats, Bulls (at home) and Nets (at home) and are only good wins are against Phoenix, Portland and Denver. The rest of our wins are against the leagues bottom feaders like Sacto, the Clips, OKC and Memphis. So really who knows what to think about this team right now. I sure don't.
