Nov 19 Pre-Game Power Rankings
Written by Scrumtrulescent

We dropped quite a bit after the road trip but made up some ground after beating the Suns (who were ranked in the top 5 in every poll).  Only the FOX Sports rankings include that game, so take that into account when browsing the numbers.  We are SO close to having Deron back that I can taste it!

ESPN.com: 12  (-4)

FOX Sports.com: 5  (no change)

SI.com: 6  (-2)

NBA.com: 12  (-8)

USA Today: 9  (-6)

BLOGGERS: 6  (-3)

High: 5  Low: 12  Average: 8.3

The line for the game tonight is Jazz -9.5 and the over/under is 190.5.  Milwaukee is without Redd and is on the second half of a back-to-back (lost last night to the Nuggets).  The Jazz have won 7 in a row against the Bucks and the average margin of victory at home is 12.3.  No word on Deron or Memo yet, but I'll take the Jazz 104-93 and, obviously, the over.

Interesting stat:

This will be the bucks 6th back to back game. They are 3-2 on second games this season.

Not bad.

You realize when you say things like that you force me to do more research...

Bucks are 3-1 on the second half on back-to-backs after a loss. But those wins were @ Thunder, @ Knicks, and vs. Spurs (who were also on the second half of a BTB). Also, Redd played in the first 2 second half road wins, he's not playing tonight.

There are more numbers involved in the above post than there were in my final math exam....(keep in mind the last time I took math was my Sophomore Year of High School, but still.)
Either way, I am confused. I like the Jazz tonight I just hope they don't think it will be a cake walk. I'd love to see Memo tonight too. Hope they E.S.A. gives Bogut a good welcome back. Wish he was in a Jazz uniform.

What the hell Jazz? Is this normal for other teams to see this much injury hit at the same?

Try being a Patriots and a Jazz fan. Next up, J-Slo or The Emperor will go down and be out 2-4 weeks. It's getting really, really old.
