Week 5 Blogger Rankings

After a rollercoaster week the Jazz dropped in the blogger rankings.  There were 2 dominating wins and 2 demoralizing losses during this 4 game home-stand where just about everyone expects us to win handily.  While the drop was not entirely unexpected, I can't really tell if we're ranked too high, too low, or just right.  Head over to Empty the Bench to check out the list.

I don't hate the rankings...To be honest I would rank the Jazz outside the top 10 right now. Yeah the record is 11-7 but the team lost games both on the road and at against lesser opponents. First we need to get healthy but that doesn't concern me right now, what does concern me is the comeback of DWill. Like most I couldn't wait to see him back playing with a chip on his shoulder. But right now I see a guy who has doubts, a guy who admitted that quicker point guards(Devin Harris) is a match up problem for him...But what I don't see out of him is that will to win at no cost, that fire in his eye. Right now Deron has to understand that 10 points and 10 assist isn't going to do with the leading scorer sidelined with pussitis again. Deron, time to start taking the game over...Sorry to vent but our boy is playing scared.

I agree Pick-n-Roll. I would put the Jazz at the bottom of the list right now, partly because of bitterness. What is scaring me is that they are losing games at home and on the road. Not good. It's going to be an up-hill battle. Yes, it's early and I am dramatic but not looking good at all. They need a good 9-1 stretch to earn my confidence back. By the looks of it this is going to be one of those seasons where we are never healthy and I am not ready to be a part of the ugly roller coaster.....which is what I am going thru with my Patriots. Sucks.
