Welcome Back D-Will

Man that was good to see D-Will back, even though he was really rusty.  Overall it was a great debut because he didn't hurt his ankle any worse than what it was to start the game.  He looked winded in the second half and was much more crisp in the first half with his passes and court vision, but that was to be expected. The worst thing about a sprained ankle is that you cant keep your stamina up while it rehabing.

"I am going to throw this down on you next time we meet"

Nice to see Kosta get some time and play well.  I was really impressed with his athleticism and touch around the basket.  You can tell he has been coached well also, he has a good feel for the game. He might be a keeper down the road.

Remember back when Marc Stein released his week one power rankings and he had the Jazz ranked behind the 76ers and I called him a moron because there is no way that the Sixers are better than the Jazz?  Well, I was right.  This version of the Sixers cant hang with the Jazz at all and boy does Elton Brand look over-rated right now.

Last thing - Do you all realize that we still have not seen this team at full strength yet this year?   Even tonight we had a 70% D-Will and no Memo and still put together a pretty good game.  This years Jazz has shown a renewed dedication to defense and when we get all our guns going at once the offense should start to click and those 15 point 3rd quarters will be a thing of the past.

This game showed me a lot about our Jazz.

1. We are even deeper than the media and world gives us credit for. I LOVE our bench.
2. Korver has a rough game and the Jazz win old style, without a shooter.
3. Brevin Knight may have been one of the best offseason moves KOC has made. He looked excellent. I can't even remember what I was thinking when Shart was running the offense.
4. Brewer and Millsap need to be permanent fixtures of this team.

Great win as we were able to hold off the Sixers run.

1. I heart Brewer!
2. Koufus is better than Fes ever will be.
3. D-Will is a stud for playing and stepping up to help this team.
4. Price's behind the back pass to AK for the dunk was # 10 on ESPN's top 10 (8 of the other 9 were hockey or soccer...they all looked the same.)
5. Our Bench owns any other bench in the world even on a bad shooting night.
6. Boozer is acting like he's playing for a contract or something....fine with me.
7. On an unrelated note, Tim Lincecum is a pimp! He is the one thing my SF Giants have going for them. At least they have a trophy to put in the trophy case.

Thanks. Too bad I'll be moving to a new team by the time you finish blinking.

there are times when bringing someone off the bench makes us BETTER (i.e., AK, Sap, Korvs). How many teams can say that?

Yeah, I'll shut up now.

Great game for the Jazz though.
Hopefully Deron didn't rush back too quickly.
