Utah Jazz Deron Williams has left the Jazz for personal reasons. He is excused. Ronnie Price is also out.

And @tribjazz,

Deron Williams has left the Jazz for personal reasons and won't play tonight in Philadelphia.

The situation is still developing. Eric Maynor will start. No word on whether Williams can make it to Cleveland for Saturday.

Looks like the rook is going to get his first start tonight-let’s hope he comes prepared. On a more important note, Deron Williams is not the type of player that misses games for anything, as we all saw the other night against Boston. He wouldn’t miss tonight’s game against Philly for trivial reasons, so hopefully everything is ok. Something must have suddenly happened, because he tweeted last night "Packing getting ready to go to Philly! Gotta get me a cheesesteak! What's the best spot? Had Pats last yr! Ok but no fries?", and I doubt a cheesesteak would have been the first thing on his mind if he knew something back home was going on that might cause him to miss the game.
