Chicago Bulls (6-7) @ Utah Jazz (7-7), Thanksgiving Day 2009

Notes:
-> It's Thanksgiving Day. There's bad football on TV. And a Jazz game as well.
-> Supposedly Kyle Korver suffered a setback in his rehab and will miss another week at least.
-> Kirk Hinrich is questionable for the Bulls.
-> Okur has 440 3-pointers with the Jazz, putting him in 1st place on the franchise list. He passed Jeff Hornacek against the Thunder.
-> There were Boozer to Chicago rumors this summer. One of the guys mentioned, Tyrus Thomas, is out with an injury suffered while lifting weights or something.
-> Aaron Gray, who has been out all season, might be back for this one.
-> The same can't be said for CJ Miles. Or Harpring. And Price is out as well.
-> If you look at the stats, the Bulls are in the 20s (or worse) in all the stats except offensive rebounds (19th) and blocks (11th).

The Bulls lost Ben Gordon this off-season. His scoring has partially been picked up by Luol Deng... John Salmons is shooting 36% on the season... Joakim Noah has taken a huge step forward this season, especially when it comes to blocks & rebounds... Larry Hughes, Jazz killer last season, is no longer on the team... They're getting some impressive play from late 1st-rounder Taj Mahal Gibson... The back-up PGs are Jannero Pargo & Lindsey Hunter. Man! Anyone miss Hart/Knight?... Beware Derrick Rose's foot!

The game against the Thunder was just plain bad. Booze, like himself of late, sucked for 3+ quarters before showing up. Sadly... no one else decided to show up really. 'Sap had 13 points early... and then didn't score again until way late. Hopefully the Bulls will hate being on the road on Thanksgiving and will roll over and play dead. Unlikely, but we can always hope.

The Bulls have 7 players that have played all 13 games, though 1 (Hinrich) is questionable today. The Jazz have 5 (only 2 of whom have been starters all season) and another 1 has played 13 of the 14 games (surprisingly, that player is... slow's worst nightmare Kyrylo Fesenko). I don't know why slow hates youngsters so much, but it's great to see that the veterans he loves are leading the Jazz to such amazing heights...

The game is at 8:30 PM MST (or later, depending when the other TNT game ends). Tune in if you have nothing better to do... (on the plus side, it'll probably be a bit more captivating than the 2 NFL games that've been on TV so far... though that's not saying much).

You have a typo. Okur passed Hornacek for 3rd place. Stockton is still first, followed by Russell

Yeah, thanks for that. I realized it a bit late... when I wasn't next to a computer.
