-The Jazz have shot 60%+ from the field in 2 straight games for the first time since dinosaurs roamed the Earth. And they did it in impressive fashion, making 6 out of every 10 shots they took! Oh, wait... same thing...

Speaking of the Grizzlies/Blazers game... the Grizz, as you might know, beat the Blazers the night before the Jazz did. All good will was lost last night though, when after jumping out to a huge lead (16 after 3 quarters), they imploded at a level at would make the Jazz 4th-quarter collapses of earlier seem like losing a 2-point lead. They scored the first 2 points of the 4th quarter to go up by 18, and then were outscored 33-5!!! the rest of the way. By the Clippers. No, seriously. 33-5. By the Clippers. The Clippers ended the game on a 22-0 run, and the Grizzlies missed 16 of their 18 FG attempts in that 4th quarter.

That said, they've definitely been playing better since AI was removed from the team. They have an improving youngster in Marc Gasol, who Booze thinks is the most improved player in the NBA so far this season. They also have the aforementioned Hasheem Thabeet, a top-3 pick in this year's draft (#2, in fact), DeMarre Carroll (#27 in this past draft), Sam Young (#36 in this past draft), OJ Mayo (#3 pick last year), Darrell Arthur (#27 pick last year), Mike Conley (#4 pick 2 years back) and Marko Jaric (married to Adriana Lima). So yeah... they're young. For the most part. And getting better, as young players that get playing time tend to do.

The Jazz, meanwhile, will yet again go with a 9 man rotation due to injuries. That means 4 guys on the bench, half of whom slow hates with a passion. Like, a serious passion. You know... like the hatred you were supposed to feel when told that the guy below ended up with Adriana Lima. Yeah... that type of hatred.

So that leaves us with a 7-man rotation until the final minutes of the game... though maybe Fesenko will play because the Grizzlies have a ton of bigs (Gasol, Thabeet, Steven Hunter, Hamed Haddaddi... though I'm not sure if all of the guys are currently with the Grizzlies or not).

So, the questions...

1- How many blocks does Thabeet end up with? (I'm saying 3.)

2- Which Grizzlies player goes off for a career night tonight? (I'm going with Sam Young.)
