Ain't Nothin' Ever Change?

Well, at least we didn't have to spend the cash on a new Team Pic

Like I told Scrum last night, I already feel the same way about the Jazz this season as I did near the end of last season when we fell completely off the face of the earth. You don't know what I'm talking about? Well, remember the time Golden State literally limped into the ESA with seven active players, two of which I am almost positive were rebounding shots for the Jazz in the pre-game shoot-around? After that pittiful, disgusting display of team work and team effort I was done with the Jazz.

Here we are going into game four of the 2009-2010 season, tonight in Dallas, and I am already haunted by those same feelings. I keep going back and forth between, "yea, it's early and there is still a lot of season left" and "just get this season over with so we can draft Michael Jordan's son with the first pick of the draft." And that's using New York's pick, we could end up with both the #1 and #2 pick at this rate.

I know, I know, I'm being too hard on them. I always am and those of you who know me know how dramatic I can be. A win tonight and I'm back on the bandwagon....until the next dissapointing loss.

A couple weeks ago I wrote a brief post regarding my frustrations with the Jazz and their worthless off-season. You know, the off-season? The time to make adjustments, trades, drop a few players, etc. Really do anything to stay competitive. The Jazz sat back and watched as the competition made moves and decided not making changes is the best thing possible right now. Like I said, it's early, but so far, that "no-move" is not looking so good.

You see, we haven't won a ring with who we have on the floor and we aren't going to win a ring, or even make a run, until we make adjustments. If the Jazz are content winning 40-50 games a year, making an early playoff exit and hitting the links then we've got it covered. I'm not content with that, your not content with that... BYU Football maybe, but not TBJ fans.

I know how annoying it is when you get this guy ranting and raving about how everything is wrong, but then you ask him what he would do and he has no suggestions. Well, that's me right now. I don't know what to do, who to bring in, who to sit, who to play. I just know we are stuck in mediocre mode and it's not getting any better. Could "I Heart" Korver really be the difference? I know he doesn't hurt the team but it's not like we are waiting for LBJ to get healthy.

I don't know what to do here. I am sick of the same old Jazz and I am not ready for 79 more games of it. Here's to hoping change is on it's way....Obama.....or that we get over the Swine Flu that is the opening of this Jazz season.

Go Jazz.
