Ladies and gentlemen, the wait is over!  We are now less than 9 hours away from Jazz tip-off in COLD SNOWY Denver.  First and foremost, the Nuggs will be without Kleiza (who torched the Jazz for 41 back in Jan of 2008) and JR Smith, who averaged 23.5 ppg against the Jazz last season.  The Jazz, however, will be without Morris Almond, Brevin Knight, Jarron Collins, Matt Harpring, CJ Miles, Kyle Korver, and maybe Ronnie Price (team injury report).  The Jazz went 2-2 against Denver last year and also kicked off the season against them (a 98-94 victory).  As a 5.5 point underdog, I have to take the Jazz.  There are rumors that the Jazz are paying closer attention to their defense, but they said that last year too and lost some really important games to some really bad teams...at home (T-Wolves, Warriors).

Like I said, I'll take the Jazz tonight because, c'mon, it's the Nuggets and I dislike the Nuggets (to put it lightly!)  Anyway, on to the preseason rankings!

Good luck tonight, boys. You're going to need it. This should be an early reality check to just how limited the Jazz's chances of competing for the division are this season.

Eff Kenyon Martin, Eff JR Smith, Eff Allen Iverson (I know he got traded last year, but still...) Eff The Bird Man, Eff Chauncey Billups, Eff George Karl and Double Eff Carmelo Anthony. If I forgot anyone its because they dont matter.
Man I hate the Nuggets and I cant wait to knock them off their one year reign atop the Northwest Division. Screw you Denver, I hope your city gets knocked out by a tornado, that Carmelo blows out an ACL tonight and that George Karl chokes himself on a McRib sandwich during the post game interview while he is complaining about something stupid.
Man, its been too long since the Jazz last played, I needed to get that off my chest. I love opening the season against the pebbles, can we make it an anual tradition? Lets get this season started right Jazz!
